Brook

Brook

Brook was born on the street, like so many puppies born in our country without a future and without any hope. She came to us with her siblings, and at first, all the puppies were very frightened, they did not approach people and barked constantly.

On the day she arrived at the shelter, dirty and scared, we went to get her out of the crate of the van and she was threatening to bite us, as were her siblings. Not only did she not bite, but we took her out, gave her a quick bath, and held her in our arms with a towel for quite a while.

Both Brook and the other puppies relaxed quite a bit, and then the process of socializing them at the shelter began. Although all the puppies looked alike at first, Brook stood out with the light brown on her ears and the top of her head, which always looked like she was wearing a wig, like those old ones from a past century.

She is a bit more hesitant than her sisters, and a bit more reserved, and her little face combined with her wig always gives her a sulky expression that makes us want even more to win her mind and heart.

She loves to play with toys, and she really enjoys eating and little sausages from our hands, and when we sometimes take her in our arms, she whines for two seconds, and then settles on our lap and relaxes, becoming a little ball of fluff and falling asleep.

She has already started going on her first walks on a leash by herself, without her sisters, and she is thriving. A new world full of opportunities, scents, sensations, and magical things for a puppy opens up before her, and soon Brook will no longer resemble the fearful little dog we first met.

Nefeli

Nefeli

We must have done something good in this life or in a previous one, or generally, and this fell into our hands.

We have never had a puppy as round, soft, and fluffy as this one (okay, we have had others, but this one made us forget all the previous ones).

We named her Nefeli  because she is soft and ethereal like a cloud (nefos in Greek means cloud). As if she doesn't belong to this earth, but descended from the sky as an ether to refresh us in the summer heat.

Nefeli is a wonderful puppy, and we are all in love with her. EVERYONE.

First of all, she is beautiful. But it’s not her beauty that makes us adore her, it’s her personality. Nefeli is happy, social, playful, and generally the perfect puppy.

Whatever you imagine in a puppy, she has it.She plays excellently; you throw her the toy and she catches it, brings it back, pulls it, and “kills” it with that puppy enthusiasm that puppies have when they grab something in their mouths that they are allowed to destroy.

She is learning her name, and she has started to do various games with food that she really enjoys (don’t tell her it’s training, she thinks we are just playing).

She really is a dream puppy, and she will make a family very happy.

Demos

Demos

One day he came for neutering and rehoming - how many ads start like this.. So he was neutered, and he had to stay with us a few extra days than usual because he needed to take antibiotics and it would have been impossible on the street.

So he stayed, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to return him. We didn’t want to, he didn’t deserve the street. It was a time when the shelter had no room even for a mosquito, and the boy went into a foster home with one of our people.

And so from the street, he found himself in a home and never went through the shelter, he only comes for visits sometimes.

We named him Demos, which is Greek for municipality in, because at some point we would have named a dog like that - so many have come just for neutering from the municipality and never return, so we kept the name for a dog that would fit, and for some reason, it fits him.

Dimos - who for a long time was called 'bebe' (unfortunately, he hears it, sorry) - is a wonderful, young, fresh, pure, innocent, and tender dog.Imagine that he is the dog who one day, when a family came for an appointment to see other dogs, happened to be in the yard.

They asked us who he was, and they fell in love with him so much that they felt guilty for the dogs they had made appointments with.

Dimos lives in a house with other dogs, he is good, polite, and sociable, he goes for his walks on a leash and spends time in the garden as well. He has perfectly learned the 'sit' command, which he loves very much, but at the same time, he is also a couch potato, and generally, he is perfect.

He is fresh, young, nothing has spoiled him, it's like nothing bad has ever happened in his life. He will make a perfect pet, and we are 100% sure of that.

Cookie

Cookie

Very typical and common her name is, we know it, but it really suits her.

She has the color and she has the sweetness.

Cookie lived with an elderly woman who apparently took care of her, but she allowed her to give birth and no one knows what happened to the puppies. When the woman died, the little one changed hands, and eventually ended up with us to be spayed, and we fell in love with her.

Cookie is a little dog that could be adopted yesterday. She is amazing. She is social, she is sweet, she is good with other dogs, good with people, she goes for her walks on a leash and plays with her friend Houdini.

She is a small dog, around 15 kilos, sweet as a cookie, fresh, fluffy, and smiling.

Kahlua

Kahlua

Kalua had come to us along with his five siblings. In the first few days, all the puppies were very scared, they wouldn't approach us, they barked, and they avoided us.

After a few days and quite a few treats, all the puppies started to come closer to us, and Kalua, in just one week, became the most sociable of them all. He enjoys his toys, enjoys his walks, plays with the other dogs, and is sociable and affectionate.

Vino

Vino

When he first arrived with his five siblings, he was very scared, just like all puppies.

He would hide in a corner and not approach until we brought out a toy, and he started timidly nibbling on it.Since then, he has made tremendous progress. You can see it in the photos, and you will understand it when you meet him.

He plays with his toys like crazy, plays with his siblings, falls into your lap for cuddles, and overall, he is a happy, social puppy that bears no resemblance to the scared creature he was when he arrived.

Vino is a sweet dog. Sweet in appearance and sweet in character. It’s as if he is somewhat velvety in his coat, face, and personality.

Even his colors are sweet, with the apricot and the little black in his coat blending into each other as if done by a painter.

Vino is now fully vaccinated and ready for his forever home.
