Angelina was born on the streets, like so many puppies who start life without any real chance at a better future. She came to us with her siblings, all of them frightened, dirty, exhausted, and constantly on edge. On her first day, when we opened the van crate to take her out, she barked intensely and threatened to bite. Not out of aggression or malice, but out of fear. We picked her up, bathed her, wrapped her in a towel, and held her in our arms. A little while later, it was clear that this dog had no trace of wildness in her. She was simply scared, and the longer she stayed in our arms, the more she relaxed and found relief.

Out of the four puppies, Angelina always stood out. She was constantly present, watching, participating, wanting to understand what was happening around her. Even when she was afraid, she never fully withdrew. Toys were her kryptonite. No matter how hesitant the other puppies were at first, the moment a toy appeared and started moving in front of them, Angelina was always the first to approach. At first cautiously, then with curiosity, and very quickly with enthusiasm. She grabbed it with her mouth, pulled, and played with her whole body.

Angelina is extremely smart. She has a strong temperament and a real desire to learn and try as many things as possible. She is now a young dog who is joyful and open. She loves going for walks, enjoys the world around her, is social with both people and other dogs, and moves with confidence, as if the space belongs to her.

The light beige eyebrows above her eyes give her a permanently slightly frowning expression, making her look serious and funny at the same time. She is completely ready for a life beyond the shelter.
