Angelina was born on the street, like so many puppies that are born in our country without a future and without any hope. She came to us with her siblings, and at first, all the puppies were very scared, they wouldn't approach people and constantly barked.
On the day she arrived at the shelter, dirty and frightened, when we tried to take her out of the crate in the van, she threatened to bite us, as did her siblings. Not only did she not bite, but we took her out, gave her a quick bath, and held her in our arms with a towel for quite a while.
Angelina and the other puppies relaxed quite a bit, and then the effort to socialize them at the shelter began.
Of the four puppies, Angelina was always the one with the strongest character. Like it or not, you noticed her because she was always there, always involved, always interested in what was happening. She loved playing. No matter how scared she was at first, as soon as we took out the toy and waved it in front of the puppies, she would immediately come with interest. Very quickly, she began to grab it with her mouth, tug, and play with great enthusiasm.
If Angelina had started her life differently, she would have been an unstoppable puppy in everything. She is extremely smart, has a great temperament, and is eager to learn, to do things, to live, and to enjoy life.
Now she is very happy and very social, she loves going for walks, she is sociable with people and other dogs, and the nicest thing about her are those furry eyebrows above her eyes, which give her a frowning expression, as if someone took her ball and won't give it back, or as if another child is eating ice cream in front of her and her mom won't get her any ice cream.
