We found Maggie on the street pregnant, practically ready to give birth. Her two children are probably the only dogs nearly born in the shelter, as Maggie began to give birth in the car as we transported her.
She raised her babies with a lot of love and care, spending the first time in a creed, taking care of what was most precious to her. She was a wonderful mom, and as her babies grew up, she too began to live her life again.
