This is Morgan, and he is about one year old. We look at him and wonder what he has seen in that short time and how much he has already been through.

He was found completely alone in a small village in the countryside. Some tourists noticed him and started leaving food for him. Morgan quickly learned the time and the exact spot where he could find it, so every day, at around the same time, he would appear there and wait.

We do not know where he slept at night, where he had been before, or how he ended up there. What we do know is that he had figured out when someone would come and leave food for him. For a dog living alone on the streets, that small certainty can become the entire structure of his day.

Fortunately, his story did not end there, and Morgan is now with us. We are starting to discover his real personality and, as so often happens, behind the slightly hesitant look we saw when we first met him was simply a young dog waiting to feel safe.

He is playful, social, and loves company. He gets along well with other dogs, can live happily with cats, and particularly enjoys being around children. He walks well on a leash and seems able to adapt easily to everyday life surrounded by people.

And of course, he is incredibly handsome. Black, tall and slim, with long legs, big ears, and two eyes that somehow manage to look serious even when the rest of Morgan is completely ready to play.

For now, his story is moving in a much happier direction. He no longer has to wait alone in a village every day, hoping that someone will appear with a little food.

Our goal is for his story to become even happier. We hope that before long, instead of waiting for food, Morgan will be waiting behind a door for his person to come home.
