All dogs become sweeter as they grow older, but there are also adult dogs that you can tell have always been sweet, since their youth. One such dog is our Happiness, the little girl. The sweetness of her soul is evident in her eyes.

She was found as a stray wandering the streets, with her leg and heart broken. A dog that lives for people, who had the fortune of being seen by a volunteer who understood her need, contacted us, and that's how Happiness came into our hands. She is now in foster care, enjoying a soft bed and the safety of a home.

She is exceptional. We can't describe how exceptional she is. She is spotless, waits for her walk to go to the bathroom, doesn't pull on the leash, is amazing in the house, and with the cats and the other three dogs; in general, she is a little dog that knows exactly how to behave as a pet in an apartment.

She is an incredibly affectionate dog, incredibly people-oriented, and incredibly good, and when she is happy, she does little jumps as if she is a puppy, with her feet that look like a frog's, and her ears going down.

Sometimes when you throw her a toy, she hesitates and picks it up in her mouth for a moment, as if she doesn't know if she should, as if she doesn't quite remember if she did that when she was a puppy. If you persist, she starts to tug at it timidly, and she is generally on a very good path to learn to play again. The joy we feel seeing her sleep comfortably and carefree in her bed is indescribable.

We named her Eftyhia which means hapiness in Greek because we wanted a name that is beautiful like her soul, and as lucky as we wish she will be.

Eftyhia will come to your home and will adapt immediately, she won't cause you any problems, and you will love her the moment you see her. All she wants is three walks a day, a little playtime that she loves, cuddles, good food, and human companionship.

When she is in nature, her hunting instincts awaken, and you can see her in all her glory; however, she has also fully adapted to an urban environment and enjoys city walks.

Her right leg has an old fracture that has healed a bit crookedly, and this leg is slightly shorter than the other. It doesn’t hurt as much as it used to at the beginning, and she is completely functional; she walks, runs, and plays as if nothing is wrong (and she also jumps on the couch, although she prefers the dog bed or the crate over the couch).

He found himself thrown away like garbage before he even opened his eyes. A classic practice that really makes us ashamed now. Somewhere there is a mother who in a few months will probably give birth again, she will again give birth to unwanted puppies, again they will be thrown in the trash and the chances of them being lucky too are minimal.

It is very difficult to keep such small puppies alive, that they have to be fed every three hours, someone has to help them go to the toilet, they have to keep them warm and safe.

Demis and two of his surviving siblings were lucky enough to find hospitality in one of our volunteers who took care of them with dedication and consistency, raised them and are now ready to get their first vaccine.

Demis started his life in the worst way, because someone decided that he was not worth anything, and that it was perfectly legitimate to let him die torturously in a garbage bag. He didn't die, he lived.

He got a ot of attention when we posted him on socia media, and he was adopted immediately. He went to his new home with the best advice, adapted very quickly, and lived there for two weeks, until the couple simply separated, and the dog became unnecessary.

Such irresponsibility, such immaturity. It is extremely ugly and immoral to lock up a puppy for adoption, to get him ready, to go to a home for a little while, and to return having lost a very important part of his development. Demis was returned in the summer, at the end of July, when everything slows down, and from a home he found himself back in a shelter.

Devastating for his psychology, especially for a dog at such a sensitive age.He is truly an exceptional puppy, we love him very much, and we want him to find his forever home as soon as possible, this time with responsible and serious people, not just serious-looking and enthusiastic but immature ones.

He is truly an exceptional little dog, sweet and gentle; we love him very much and want him to find his forever home as soon as possible, this time with responsible and serious people, not just pretentious, enthusiastic, and immature ones. He is crate trained, walks on a leash, has lived in an urban neighborhood, is social, very good with other animals, and knows some commands.

Nefeli (reserved)

We must have done something good in this life or in a previous one, or generally, and this fell into our hands.

We have never had a puppy as round, soft, and fluffy as this one (okay, we have had others, but this one made us forget all the previous ones).

We named her Nefeli  because she is soft and ethereal like a cloud (nefos in Greek means cloud). As if she doesn't belong to this earth, but descended from the sky as an ether to refresh us in the summer heat.

Nefeli is a wonderful puppy, and we are all in love with her. EVERYONE.

First of all, she is beautiful. But it’s not her beauty that makes us adore her, it’s her personality. Nefeli is happy, social, playful, and generally the perfect puppy.

Whatever you imagine in a puppy, she has it.She plays excellently; you throw her the toy and she catches it, brings it back, pulls it, and “kills” it with that puppy enthusiasm that puppies have when they grab something in their mouths that they are allowed to destroy.

She is learning her name, and she has started to do various games with food that she really enjoys (don’t tell her it’s training, she thinks we are just playing).

She really is a dream puppy, and she will make a family very happy.

Demos (reserved)

One day he came for neutering and rehoming - how many ads start like this.. So he was neutered, and he had to stay with us a few extra days than usual because he needed to take antibiotics and it would have been impossible on the street.

So he stayed, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to return him. We didn’t want to, he didn’t deserve the street. It was a time when the shelter had no room even for a mosquito, and the boy went into a foster home with one of our people.

And so from the street, he found himself in a home and never went through the shelter, he only comes for visits sometimes.

We named him Demos, which is Greek for municipality in, because at some point we would have named a dog like that - so many have come just for neutering from the municipality and never return, so we kept the name for a dog that would fit, and for some reason, it fits him.

Dimos - who for a long time was called 'bebe' (unfortunately, he hears it, sorry) - is a wonderful, young, fresh, pure, innocent, and tender dog.Imagine that he is the dog who one day, when a family came for an appointment to see other dogs, happened to be in the yard.

They asked us who he was, and they fell in love with him so much that they felt guilty for the dogs they had made appointments with.

Dimos lives in a house with other dogs, he is good, polite, and sociable, he goes for his walks on a leash and spends time in the garden as well. He has perfectly learned the 'sit' command, which he loves very much, but at the same time, he is also a couch potato, and generally, he is perfect.

He is fresh, young, nothing has spoiled him, it's like nothing bad has ever happened in his life. He will make a perfect pet, and we are 100% sure of that.

Napoleon (reserved)

Okay fine, you can't imagine what a love this is. We fell in love with him from the first moment we saw him, when he was a tiny baby, with mange and sparse hair and a serious, heavy, and unbearable expression.

For his name, we asked on social media for suggestions, and Napoleon was proposed two or three times. The second most suggested name was sea urchin, but we didn't understand the resemblance to a sea urchin, really!! The black, stretched hair around his head didn’t remind us of anything at all!

Napoleon recovered, grew up, got vaccinated, and is ready for a forever home.

His demeanor, heavy and burdensome, shed off from the very first week, and in its place came a smile that has stayed. In most of the photos, he is smiling because he is generally a cheerful dog.

We try to use his name whenever it's appropriate and correctly, but it spontaneously comes out that we call him 'Boulis.' BECAUSE HE IS A BOULE.Firstly, he is round. Very round.

Secondly, he is somewhat innocent. On his own, he does not easily take initiative; he usually mimics. If another dog runs, he runs too. If we walk, he walks too. On his own, if he had to choose, he would obviously spend the whole day lying down.

He is generally a heavy type, not in character, but in body and energy. Of course, he is a puppy, and will be happy and play like a puppy, but it already seems that he will become a dog that gets a bit bored and has moderate energy.

With his rich fur, round belly, and fluffy head, he normally looks like a teddy bear. You want to laugh, you want to hug him, you want to grant him all his wishes, you want to turn back time every week, so you can enjoy this age as much as possible, over and over again.

Kalua had come to us along with his five siblings. In the first few days, all the puppies were very scared, they wouldn't approach us, they barked, and they avoided us.

After a few days and quite a few treats, all the puppies started to come closer to us, and Kalua, in just one week, became the most sociable of them all. He enjoys his toys, enjoys his walks, plays with the other dogs, and is sociable and affectionate.
