Gravel (in Greek Halikias) came to us dying. He was in such a miserable state, and so hungry, that he tried to satisfy his hunger by eating whatever he found. By doing a gastric lavage, a bowl of gravel was removed from his stomach, and that's how he got his name.

In addition to hunger and misery, he also had a broken leg, probably from a car accident, which is why he is still limping.

Gravel is a cheerful dog. For him, life in the shelter is the best he's ever had in his life. He gets along well with all other dogs, always follows on walks, free, you have a lot of dog friends, but he is wary of people.

He is a good-natured dog, just happy to be a part of everything we do, as long as it's at a distance so he can feel safe.
