Malibu had come to us along with his five siblings.
In the first days, all the puppies were very scared, they didn’t come near us, barked, and avoided us. All except for him. He was the only one who approached us from the very beginning, tentatively and gently, yet he came closer, and with his incredibly sweet face and calm manner, he sniffed us and let us gently pet his head.
Today, out of those six puppies, Malibu is the shyest. How this happened, we do not know.
Maybe due to his anxiety the first time he saw us, approaching us was his only way of appeasing us; maybe not. He is a very sweet creature, playing with his toys, playing with his siblings, and he needs a little extra time than the others to open up, especially when he is in a new environment and with people he does not know.
He is now fully vaccinated, has started going out for his first walks on a leash, and is ready for a forever home.
